about me

I need to say that I love my life though it is far from perfect.  I believe that I am created with the purpose of making a difference on this earth and in the lives of others.

This blog is part of my strategy of walking through life with others, connecting with words & pictures; inspiring one another, experiencing each others joys & tears, asking life’s big questions & wrestling with answers & reclaiming hope for  the future.  Sharing my life  journey with others, helps shape my character & encourages me to be changing into a person who better reflects all the good things in life.

Something I cherish deeply is spending time with others and seeing and hearing their life story, for everyone’s story matters and deserves to be heard and seen.

Blogging is a bit like wearing a pair of pyjamas. It goes wonderfully with a cup of coffee, is fun and something I could happily do all day.  I blog mainly about my creative adventures and family.  I have a husband whom I adore and three teenagers who are the delight of my heart.

My happy place is art journaling and making mixed media collages.  I enjoy  the honest dialogue I get to have with myself.  I also create with recycled, remnants & vintage supplies and am studying to be an Arts Therapist.  I seek to live an ethical, green life and use recycled, remnants and vintage as much as I can in my life and art.  My other passion is writing, and sometimes I have opportunity to speak to groups of people about things.  I endeavour to live my life loud (in all the ways an introvert does), and make a stand on issues that pull at my heart.  I find my true significance, gain peace, purpose and power in my life through connecting with a Higher Power.

Thanks for visiting my blog, I look forward to reading yours.
