Yesterday my bucket filling session was 5 precious hours at my art desk. Sigh! I was inspired by the endless Tim Holts’ YouTube sessions on Sunday. Here’s some of my tag art.
These green and brown ones are very Tim Holtz aren’t they? I dripped brown Distress Ink on wet tags and turned the tags around to make the ink run, so much fun! Needs string/ribbons and maybe some words…
The butterfly tag below was an experiment with my black Dylusions ink spray, to be honest I’ve rarely used it, black can be so stark, I’ve been a bit scared to use it, but i really think it worked well with the butterfly masks I used.
Art isn’t an indulgence, it’s access to one’s deepest recesses. Art fills, quietens, heals, causes us to ponder and fills our bucket.
I rarely use black ink spray so, inspires,
