butterfly page

I had a first go at using bleach in my art journal, see the dainty butterfly flying trail (on the left) that is a shade or two lighter than its surroundings… think that worked OK. The background is dylusions sprays.  Bleach is pretty smelly and i was a bit paranoid I’d knock my container over on my desk, but went OK, think there’s plenty of potential for fun effects.

Note my cut out journal page… trying some new things. The butterflies are die cut out of a vintage dictionary page glued to cardboard for stability and a vellum die cut layered on top.

Another page that needs words… sometimes that’s the most difficult part.IMG_0392
