10 things i’ve made – number 6

The sixth thing that i’ve made is actually a group of things and i’m only giving a sneak peek.

Here is one lovely from my new range from rockmelon recycled – artwork using recycled and repainted frames, remnant papers, fabrics and thread, vintage dictionary pages and repurposed retro scrabble tiles.

She makes the world a better place – Sister.

The rose is made from netting remnants from the flower girls dresses that i was still sewing for them the afternoon before my wedding, and remnant fabric from the bridesmaid’s dress i sewed and wore for my sister’s wedding; it was a coincidence as the colours just matched so well, how very fitting!

The button was gifted from my mum and the dictionary is very vintage.

The quote by Isadora James says

“A sister as a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life.”
