my creative space – cards & envelopes

i usually have  a box full of cards ready to give away for any occasion but it is pretty low at the moment, so have been papercrafting a bit.

Here are two new market designs: a cascade of punched turquoise retro daisies with buttons, matching handmade envelope is vintage sheet music with a retro daisy.

a vintage map of London features with an Owl ‘What a Hoot!’ with matching handmade Owl envelope.

Here are 4 i made while away at a ‘faithbooking’ (scrapbooking your faith journey) workshop.

love this leaf punch (from Creative Memories), love playing with other people’s punches.

A friend ran the workshop for a church convention i attended and i volunteered to assist.

Several ladies didn’t bring photos so i ended up teaching 3 days of impromptu card classes.

and of course at the end of the classes, everyone punched out punchies out of scraps to take home to play with. Love the bird and dragonfly, going on my list of punches to buy!

Haven’t visited your blog in a while – so many blogs! Good job 🙂 I wish I had your artistic style – I don’t have the patience for most craft things but I definiately appreciate knowing where I can buy some environmenty friendly & ethically correct home made cards & beautiful presents. I am trying to be really good with my ethical shopping & on the whole it has been okay but I have hit a couple of snags along the way so it is nice to read your blog and be re-inspired to keep it up 🙂 Thanks for your beautiful blog 🙂

Oh I love that first one! Must be the type paper background and sheet music that got my attention. 😉 And that dragonfly stamp is gorgeous! Makes me think of the dragonflies on our pond in summer! 🙂

Hope you have a marvellous weekend!
